Let’s get “eggy” with it

One of the most common questions I get asked is “can I cook eggs in my Thermomix?”.
Well the answer is 100% YES!

So, with the help of the fabulous Laurette & Diana (two of the amazing consultants in my team), we did this Virtual Masterclass to show you how to cook Sous-vide Scrambled Eggs, Blade-Cover Poached Eggs, and Boiled Eggs. Diana used the Egg Boiler mode, but there is a boiled eggs recipe on Cookidoo. But if you have a TM6 you should definitely check out the egg boiler mode.

BLADE COVER & PEELER

I use my BLADE COVER when I am sous-vide’ing the scrambled eggs. Laurette also uses hers when she’s poaching the eggs. It is absolutely worthwhile purchasing one of these (for more than just eggs). You will open yourself up to being able to cook many more recipes in your Thermomix, including the slow cooking and lots of other things. And it’s a peeler too.

EGG TOPPER

Diana used this to show you how to effortlessly cut the top off a boiled eggs. Perfect for dippy eggs with toast soldiers.

SET OF 9 EGG POACHING CUPS

These are also worth giving a go, especially if you want to poach/steam multiple eggs at once.
